Hundreds of int’l geotechnical engineers to attend GEO TECH HANOI 2019
The conference, slated to take place on November 28 – November 29, is an occasion for geotechnical engineers worldwide to share professional experiences and present papers.

![]() The International Conference on Geotechnics for Sustainable Infrastructure Development (GEOTEC HANOI 2019) will be held in Hanoi.

Leading world researchers will have specialized lessons in six themes including landslide and erosion; substructures, deep stereobate, digital modeling and geotechnical monitoring; coastal stereobates and reinforcing soil base.
The event takes place when Vietnam is coping with the landslide threat in many areas including mountainside and riverbank as well as the unsustainable construction and operation of civil engineering works nationwide.
“The holding of the conference and exhibition may shorten the gap of technological science in the geotechnical engineering between Vietnam and other developed countries”, said GEOTEC HANOI 2019’s head of the organization board Pham Viet Khoa.
He also elaborated domestic and international scientists and engineers will have the chance to make contact, exchange experience and present the scientific achievements at the conference.
Besides, there will be an exhibition with 60 pavilions introducing technical solutions and new technologies in design, manufacturing, executing the projects of the foundation, substructures, roads, irrigation, and industrial infrastructure.
