With the aim to honour tea farming and prominent farmers, “Huong sac tra Xuan” (Colour of Spring Tea) Festival kicked off on March 1 in the northern province of Thai Nguyen.
Thousands of visitors flocked to Thai Nguyen province - the largest area planting green tea trees, to attend the festival. This was also a good chance to taste the specialty of Tan Cuong tea farming area and enjoy the tea drinking art of local people, as well as finding out business opportunities.
Tan Cuong tea is a famous brandname in both domestic and foreign markets that has registered for Protected Geographical Indication (PGI).
A lot of activities were held during the event, including tea parade, lion dance, tea processing competition, and folk games.
