India helps Vietnam train IT human resources

The hanoitimes- An inauguration ceremony of a high quality information and technology (IT) and communication human resource centre between Vietnam and India was held in Hanoi o­n September 16. 

The centre is equipped with synchronised, modern facilities with laboratories and study rooms, digital classrooms and library, database, and web technology.

India’s Foreign Minister S.M.Krishna said that India has cooperated closely with Vietnam in strengthening capacity and developing human resources through bilateral projects. He expressed delight that Vietnam and India have cooperated successfully to establish the high quality IT and communication human resource centre in Hanoi. The US$2 million project will become the largest in terms of India’s bilateral cooperation with Vietnam.

From now until the end of the year, the centre will organise four training courses for IT officers from relevant ministries, agencies, people’s committees, communes and businesses.
