Hanoi Times - The 16th IT Week Vietnam, themed “Vietnam’s information and communication technology during integration” will take place on October 26-30 in Hanoi.
The event will include an information and communication technology (ICT) exhibition, an IT Gold Cup and seminars on State management of ICT.
According to the organising board of ICT Week 2007, the event is geared toward the young, with activities including contests on current ICT trends and for Vietnam’s best blogs of 2007.
According to Bui Quoc Viet, editor-in-chief of Information Society Magazine and a member of the event’s organising board, the blog contest will be open only to blogs written in Vietnamese language by Vietnamese people. Awards will be presented based on the quality of content and layout and on blogs’ communal orientation.
