The Japanese International School was inaugurated in Hanoi on May 7.
The school was established under cooperation between private Vietnamese investors and Tokyo-based Chuo University.
It offers courses from kindergarten through grade 12 using Japanese educational methodology and curriculums.
The school aims to provide students with academic knowledge and independent thinking, teamwork and communication skills as well as physical education.
Students will also be taught English and Japanese as their second and third languages.
