Justice sector promotes IT application to facilitate business operation

The application of information technology in the public administration reform has always been considered to be the key measure to effectively implement the tasks of the Ministry of Justice in 2017.

In the period 2016-2020, the Ministry of Justice will concentrate on implementing the key tasks of application of information technology such as: providing online adequate public services at level 3 and 4 on the ministry's concentrated administration management software system; improving, completing and using efficiently IT software applied in the ministry's agenies in the period 2011-2015.

In addition, in the next five years, the Ministry of Justice will invest to modernize IT infrastructure of communication, especially in the electronic data center in order to meet the needs of IT application in the judiciary, enhance safety and security for applications systems; and carry out the project of electronic civil status databases nationwide.
In the coming time, the Ministry of Justice targets to reach the rate of 100% of documents exchanged among its agencies being deloyed online. Besides, up to 100% of meetings and seminars will be teleconference with the aims of 100% of legal documents issued by the Central and local agencies being updated on the national database of laws.
Minister of Justice Le Thanh Long said the application of information technology is a fundamental solution for his ministry's implementation of the tasks.
