KTĐT - According to the Vietnam Women’s Union, the annual Kovalevskaya 2014 awards will be presented on March 7 in Hanoi.
A number of female staff from the Hanoi Medical University’s histology and embryology department will receive an award for their project researching cell technology to cure ocular surface damage.![]() Illustrative image

The individual prize will be awarded to Professor Doctor Nguyen Thi Kim Lan from the Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry.
The prestigious prize, named after the great Russian female mathematician Sofia Kovalevskaia, is awarded to female academics with excellent achievements in the sciences or arts and humanities. The Vietnamese Kovalevskaia awards were established in 1985.
