Vietnam has established an overseas labour management office in Seoul, the Republic of Korea (RoK), following the Korea Employment Permit System (EPS) with the intention of protecting the legitimate rights and interests of Vietnamese guest workers.

It will also provide assistance and advice to help them deal with problems arising during the implementation of their labour contracts.
Vietnamese Minister of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs Pham Thi Hai Chuyen said the establishment of the EPS office in the RoK will help boost bilateral labour cooperation.
It will also create a close link between Vietnamese labour exporters and Korean recruiters, and encourage local guest workers to adhere to their labour contracts signed with Korean companies and return to their homeland after their contracts cease, Chuyen noted.
