The Nguyen Du Lao-Vietnamese Bilingual School in Vientiane, Laos commenced the 2015 - 2016 school year with an official ceremony held on September 8.

Addressing the ceremony, Lao Deputy Minister of Education and Sports Kongsy Sengmany hailed the school’s achievements in teaching and learning, expressing his hope that the school will contribute to human resource development in Laos.
For his part, Minister-Counselor Hoang Xuan Hai from the Vietnamese Embassy in Vientiane hoped that the school would serve as a bridge to nurture the special friendship between Vietnam and Laos.
A total of 1,903 students have enrolled in the school for the 2015-2016 academic year. Run by the Association of Vietnamese in Vientiane, it offers classes from preschool to senior high school education levels.
