Hanoi Times – Quang Trung Software City (QTSC) just hammered cooperation with DOT VN, Co., Ltd. under DOT VN Inc.(USA) in building the biggest and most modern Internet Data Center (IDC) in Vietnam on January 23.
Hanoi Times – Quang Trung Software City (QTSC) just hammered cooperation with DOT VN, Co., Ltd. under DOT VN Inc.(USA) in building the biggest and most modern Internet Data Center (IDC) in Vietnam on January 23.
The IDC will be constructed in the precinct of QTSC, with the total area of 1,000 square meters. As scheduled, the first phase invested US$ 6-15 million will finish in September, 2008. The second phase of the project will start with the total investment of around US$ 40-50 million.

As projected, the IDC will be operated by the world’s leading experts appointed by DOT VN Inc.; also, there will be training programs to improve the human resources, especially the young ones for the center as well as the IT sector in Vietnam.
According to Mr. Chu Tien Dung, CEO of QTSC, the IDC will provide such services as renting host server, data storage, access and recovery at high security level, and other IT applications.
