The following black and white photos of Hanoi were taken by a French photographer in 1991.

French photographer Patrick Zachmann captured the soul of Hanoi city in 1991 via his black and white photos. As a freelance photographer since 1976 and a member of Magnum Photos since 1990, he has dedicated himself to long-term works, books and video films, all dealing with the themes of memory, identities and immigration.
