Hanoi Times – Vietnam’s audiences will have a chance to view a special opera entitled “Dream and Reality”, its play script is being written by Vietnam’s bloggers.
Blog Opera is a program sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Swedish Embassy in Vietnam. It is aimed to create a forum for the youth, especially blogger communities to share their ideas, feelings about dreams and reality. At the same time, it is a chance to encourage audiences to learn more about opera arts and to contribute to building play scripts.
Emerging from 100-word short stories written by bloggers who take part in the Blog Opera, the jury board will select the most fantastic ideas and then translate it into reality in the Blog Opera.
The play will be a result of contributions of Vietnamese and Swedish youths. It will be made public in May 2009 to mark the 40th anniversary of diplomatic ties between Vietnam and Sweden
