Ministry promotes online public services

The Hanoi Times - The Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT) will provide o­nline 41 public services under its management, according to its recent decision. The services will cover the processing of complaints and denunciations about violations of consumers’ rights, approval of trade promotion activities, registration of overseas exhibitions, and provision of information o­n foreign markets to assist local businesses.

The Hanoi Times - The Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT) will provide o­nline 41 public services under its management, according to its recent decision.

The services will cover the processing of complaints and denunciations about violations of consumers’ rights, approval of trade promotion activities, registration of overseas exhibitions, and provision of information o­n foreign markets to assist local businesses.


Businesses may also apply o­nline for permits to do business in the fields of electricity, and import and export of certain commodities.

The MoIT also asked o­nline service providers under its administration to comply with Vietnam’s commitments to trade facilitation and non-paper trade as well as the country’s orientations for the application of information technology in administrative reform.
