Modern high-rise buildings in the heart of Hanoi

Referring to Hanoi, people often think of the old narrow streets with mossy roofs. However, once you buy a plane ticket to Hanoi, you will admire a very new Hanoi seen from the plane window. Next to the old and small buildings are extremely modern high-rise buildings reaching to the sky. Currently, there are many skyscrapers being constructed and completed in Hanoi. If you come to Hanoi, you should visit these very attractive high-rise buildings.

In the south and west of Hanoi (Cau Giay and Thanh Xuan districts), many high-rise buildings have been mushrooming. Walking on the road, sometimes people see projetcs under construction. The southern gateway of Hanoi is increasingly modern. Many new streets have been inaugurated, accompanied by high-rise apartments.

Nhat Tan Bridge, a major project of the capital, is located at Tay Ho and Dong Anh districts. This is the artery route leading to Noi Bai airport and many northern provinces such as Vinh Phuc and Thai Nguyen.

The West Lake area (18sq.km wide) is surrounded by vast roads, in addition there are constructions  coming up closely to each other changing the face of Hanoi.

Thang Long Avenue connects the capital centre to suburban districts. Not far from it, many apartment buildings, commercial centres are built on Hoang Minh Giam, Le Van Luong and Pham Hung streets.

Among tallest buildings in Hanoi, Keangnam Hanoi Landmark Tower is the highest. It’s also ranked among tallest buildings in Vietnam, together with Landmark 81 in Ho Chi Minh City. Keangnam Hanoi Landmark Tower does not only impress visitors with its unique architecture, but the interior is also extremely special.

The 344m-high tower is reserved for a hotel, offices and shopping mall on the area of 570.000sq.m, ranked fifth in the world. Next to the 72-storey tower is two 48-storey towers housing apartments.

Overlooking to the West and Southwest, the obvious difference is the elevated section of Ring Road No 2 running along To Lich River.

At night, the western and southwestern area of the capital are considered as a "new city" because of the rapid development of a series of high-rise buildings and apartment buildings growing more and more.

Thanh Nien Street is a famous street in Hanoi. In the distance are skyscrapers, but on this road, people still see traditional beauty, spiritual cultural values are well preserved with Tran Quoc Pagoda, Thuy Trung Tien Temple...
