More than 400 enterprises participated in Vietnam Foodexpo 2017
On November 15, the Vietnam Foodexpo 2017 has officially opened at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC).
Vietnam Foodexpo 2017 covered an area of 13,000m2, attracting 450 enterprises with 600 booths from 31 provinces/cities in Vietnam and more than 20 countries and regions in the world. The event will take place in 3 days, from November 15 – 18.
Organised by Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency under Ministry and Trade of Vietnam, Vietnam Foodexpo is the official and no.1 international food exhibition of Vietnam. It offers the largest scale of regional and national food business opportunities through the exclusive access of the exhibition to the extensive international and national network of the Vietnamese Government, the widespread network of all trade and industry promotion organizations in the country and overseas.
Vietnam Foodexpo 2017 will attract an incredible variety of commodities for exhibit, including: vegetables (fresh, dried, canned and frozen); seafood (frozen, canned and processed); beverages (wine, beer and soft drinks); tea and coffee; food ingredients (rice, nuts, spices, seasonings, sauces ...); processed food (confectionery, dairy, dairy products, canned and processed food, instant food, and specialty food); and food processing technology and machinery.
This year, business delegation of France is chosen as the National Honored Exhibitor. The space for this year National Honored Exhibitor is of 360m2, Several French businesses are bringing to the exhibition state of-the-art technology, unique products representing France’s world-leading food industry. Moreover, Many agriculture and food experts and professionals will be present at Vietnam Foodexpo 2017, such as the French Chef Charles Soussin, and two “Meilleur Ouvrier de France - MOF” (Best Craftsmen of France); the best in the cheese-making category, Francois Robin and the best in the baking category, Christophe CLIET-MARREL. They will demonstrate during 4 days the know-how and the value of the French agricultural and food industry. Cooking demonstrations will be conducted to show how those top notch products can be used to create impressive, tasty, however easy-to-do dishes.
Alongside Vietnam Foodexpo 2017, Vietnam Foodtech 2017 features the latest technologies in the food processing industry, due to a rising demand in Vietnam. The forum is a great platform for professionals and manufacturers in the food technology to showcase their most recent products to the local food processors and producers.
