On December 29, the Thua Thien Hue provincial Youth Union launched an action program for a green, clean and beautiful environment in collaboration with Hue Beer Company.
As many as 2,000 youth union members and young volunteers from universities and colleges, armed forces and businesses in the central city of Hue took to the streets to participate in environmentally friendly activities.
They also held a bicycle parade to promote the importance of environmental protection and living an environmentally friendly lifestyle.
Provincial Youth Union Secretary Nguyen Chi Quang said the aim of the programme is to encourage local youths to become actively involved in environmental protection and consider it one of the key tasks in adaptation to climate change.
