Opening Hanoi Old Quarter cultural exchange centre

On February 2, County Commissioner, Councils and People`s Committees of Hoan Kiem district inaugurated the Hanoi Old Quarter cultural exchange centre.

The Hanoi Old Quarter cultural exchange centre is located at 50 Dao Duy Tu street, Hoan Kiem district in an area of 458 square metres, with a total floor area of ​​1,265 square metres, consists of 3 floors and a basement.

At the opening ceremony, Chairman of Hoan Kiem district Duong Duc Tuan stated that the Hanoi Old Quarter cultural exchange centre was completed on June 2014 through collaboration between the municipal government and France’s Toulouse city seeking to preserve the Old Quarter.
In the coming time, the centre will be a venue for exhibitions, workshops, cultural and art activities, introducing the history, heritage value, and traditional craft villages of the Old Quarter to the public.
