Over 173,000 foreign tourists visit Hanoi in September
The number of international visitors to Hanoi reached over 173,000 arrivals this September, increasing by 40.1% over the same period last year.
In September, the number of domestic tourists increased by 12.6% against the same period last year.
The revenue of staying, eating, tourism rose by 1% over the previous month and up 14.3% against the same period.
In the January-September period, the number of foreign visitors to Hanoi is estimated to reached 1.6 million arrivals, up 13.8% over the same period last year.
During the period, some markets having international visitors to Hanoi higher over the same period are: Republic of Korea (up 50.7% ), the US (up 19.1%), Thailand (up 24.3%), Taiwan (22.1%).
