Over 437 billion VND to present Tet gifts for revolution contributors
Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung agreed to authorize the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs submitting a plan to present Lunar New Year gifts to people who made their contributions to the national revolution to President Truong Tan Sang for his approval.

War invalids and sick soldiers, and veterans affected by toxic chemicals are also benefited the presents.
Total expenditure for the gifts is estimated to be worth over 437 billion VND.
In the past five years, the country contributed nearly 1,5 billion VND to the Fund of “paying gratitude”, more than 55,600 new houses were built and more than 39,000 houses were repaired for people who have made contributions to the national revolution.
