After a long voyage, over 50 doctors along with The Hanoi chapter of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (HCMCYU) landed on Ly Son island, Quang Ngai province to implement the program titled “For island homeland”.

The delegation is led by Secretary of the Youth Central Committee Le Quoc Phong, Nguyen Minh Triet, deputy director of the Central Union School, director of Student Support Group Centre in HCM’s Youth Union, Ha Noi’s Youth Union.

Doctors of National hospital of odonto - stomatology, Cho Ray Hospital provided check-ups and medicines for the poor patients and families under preferential treatment policy.
Besides, the group awarded a clinic and dental treatment worth 150 million for Ly Son’s Army Medical Center.
The group also donated 200 gifts of HCMC Youth Union, each worth 200.000 VND for the poor and inaugurated solar energy system to light up Ly Son’s flagpole.
