At a December 27 reception ceremony, ambassador to Canada To Anh Dung and ambassador to Bulgaria Le Duc Luu cited the gift as a demonstration of the overseas Vietnamese community’s admirable social consciousness.
The State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese Affairs (COVA) also announced it had received a 1,010 euro donation from the Dutch Den Haag and Surrounds Overseas Vietnamese Association, raised on behalf of Vietnamese natural disaster victims.
