The Vietnam National Cancer Hospital (K Hospital), the country’s largest hospital treating cancers was disinfected on Friday afternoon [May 7] after dozens of Covid-19 cases were found there.
With three branches in Hanoi, in the premises of K Hospital there are always roughly 5,000 staff and patients who are from different parts of Vietnam.
Since the early morning, all three branches have been placed under lockdown after a facility recorded the first cases with the source is linked to the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases (NHTD), the leading hospital in treating Covid-19 patients in Vietnam.
