PM proposes Myanmar to soonly granting licences to open BIDV's branch
Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung suggested Myanmar to soonly consider granting licences to the Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam to open its branch in Myanmar.

Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung received Governor of the Central Bank of Myanmar Kyaw Kyaw Maung in Hanoi on August 6 during his working visit to Vietnam.
At the reception, the PM highlighted the long-standing friendship between Vietnam and Myanmar as well as the strong developments in bilateral collaboration, especially in economics, trade and investment.
The Government leader applauded cooperation between the central banks of Vietnam and Myanmar, contributing practically to the two countries’ relations.
He said Vietnam ranks eighth among countries and territories investing in Myanmar and trade has increased annually, stressing the huge potential for economic, trade and investment ties.
PM Dung affirmed that the Vietnamese Government creates all possible conditions for businesses to operate in Myanmar.
For his part, Governor of the Central Bank of Myanmar Kyaw Kyaw Maung said Myanmar treasures special importance to promoting multi-faceted cooperation with Vietnam, especially in economics, trade and investment, as well as to the affiliation between the two central banks for mutual interests.
Myanmar will coordinate closely with the Vietnamese side to solve emerging economic issues, the Governor said.
