Poetic Bien Ho in Pleiku

Far away are vast forests, and rolling hills. Getting out of the boat, climb the stone steps, visitors will set foot on the poetic house built on a high hill in the middle of the lake.

Situated at an altitude of nearly 800m above sea level, the Biển Hồ, or Sea Lake, in Pleiku is a romantic place that will erase all worries of tourists.

The flat asphalted road runs through rugged canyons and leads us to the lake. The lake in jade color, flat as a spotless mirror appears eye-catching. Particularly, the Sea Lake water can be seen through clearly.

What is more wonderful when sitting on a canoe to go around the lake is to watch the beautiful nature. You will find the scenery around the lake breathtaking, from the trees and flowers blooming on the lake, butterfly and bees dancing to the song of the birds in the morning.

Far away are vast forests, and rolling hills. Getting out of the boat, climb the stone steps, visitors will set foot on the poetic house built on a high hill in the middle of the lake. Here, you feel like standing on the windy shore. The special place opposite to the lake along the north-south axis about a dozen kilometers is Ham Rong peak. The lake is a huge volcanic crater. The people here say that a great painting has been made from this wonderful phenomenon.

The lake is surrounded by mountains. Ethnic minority people cling to the gentle slope to build houses and villages. For those who like to explore, this mountain town is really full of things to remember. The lake is portrayed by songwriter Nguyen Cuong in the “Pleiku Eyes” song.
At night, you will be immersed in the endless dance rhythm of the fire. As such, the Sea Lake gradually takes the heart of many visitors with the gentle feeling.
