Prague seminar on aviation and maritime trade in East Sea
A seminar on freedom of international aviation and maritime trade in the East Sea was held at the Vietnamese Embassy in Prague, the Czech Republic.
Ambassador Truong Manh Son said the East Sea, especially the Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos are the major focus of the conflicts between some countries in the region.
Vietnam confirmed its undeniable sovereignty over the Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos based on historical and scientific documents and maps, he added.
The presentation on international aviation and maritime freedom in the East Sea by Tran Truong Thuy, Deputy Director of the East Sea Institute under the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam, analyzed the recent situation in the East Sea and informed the Vietnamese community in the Czech Republic about Vietnam’s viewpoints and policies on this issue as well as the nation's sovereignty over the Hoang Sa and Truong Sa islands.
