President Tran Dai Quang expressed his delight at the growing bilateral ties in all fields, saying it has benefited the two peoples. Visits by high-ranking leaders and delegation exchanges were organised regularly, while cooperation in defence, security, economics, trade, investment, education and culture was expanded, he cited.

The leader hailed Cambodian Ambassador to Vietnam Hul Phany’s contributions to the friendship and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Cambodia. He said he believes that in any new positions, Hul Phany will fulfil his assigned tasks and continue contributing to the Vietnam-Cambodia relations.

The diplomat showed his belief in the stronger bilateral relations, especially after measures to boost the ties, particularly activities to celebrate the 50 th anniversary of diplomatic ties (June 14, 1967-2017), were reached by President Quang, during his State visit to Cambodia, and Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen.

He thanked for the support of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers to help Cambodia escape from the Khmer Rouge genocidal regime on January 7, 1979, so that it can revive and grow as it is today. The Ambassador affirmed that no hostile forces can distort that truth.
