President Truong Tan Sang leaves Hanoi for State visit to Germany

The visit of President Truong Tan Sang aims to boost Vietnam-Germany strategic partnership ties.

President Truong Tan Sang and his spouse left Hanoi on November 24 for a State visit to Germany at the invitation of German President Joachim Gauck from November 24-26.
Sang’s visit is the first ever made by a Vietnamese President to Germany since the country’s unification on the occasion of celebrating 40th anniversary of diplomatic ties between the two countries.

Accompanied with the President are Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh, Head of the Party Central Committee’s Economic Commission Vuong Dinh Hue, Minister of Industry and Trade Vu Huy Hoang, Minister of Science and Technology Nguyen Quan and Transport Minister Dinh La Thang, Deputy Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Agriculture and Rural Development, President of Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Vietnam, among others.
Sang’s visit makes a motivation to promote Vietnam-Germany increasing strategic partnership ties, meeting the aspirations and the interests of the two peoples.
