Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc attended a ceremony to start the construction of the South Hoi An Resort tourism complex with the total capital of 4 billion USD in the central coastal province province of Quang Nam on April 24.
The South Hoi An Resort tourism complex is the biggest ever in Quang Nam. It is invested by VinaCapital and Gold Yield Enterprises Corporations.

The project covers an area of 985.6 hectares spanning three communes: Duy Hai and Duy Nghia communes in Duy Xuyen district and Binh Duong commune in Thang Binh district.
The first phase of the project, which covers an area of 163 hectares and worth 500 million USD, will build an 18-hole golf course and a resort area of 1,000 villa and hotel rooms.
The project is expected to create jobs for 2,000 local residents after the phase is completed in 2019.
Once completed in 2035, it will become a five-star resort and entertainment complex featuring a culture, trade and service centre and a tourism processional training school.
In the same day, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc attended the groundbreaking ceremony of the 210-ha expanded Chu Lai-Truong Hai auto mechanical industrial park and routes linking Tam Hiep port to the highway and the park.
