Raising students’ awareness in traffic safety

Implementing the Instruction No.1882/CD-TTg dated December 8, 2017 of the Prime Minister on the ensuring of public order and traffic safety in the new year period, the Vice Minister of the Training & Education Nguyen Thi Nghia requested all educational facilities to promote and raise students’ awareness in traffic safety.


As such, all educational facilities have responsibilities in informing parents to promote and raise awareness in traffic safety for students; not allowing students to ride motorbikes or car when they have not had driver’s licenses, and students have to put on safety helmet when participating in traffic. According to the instruction of the Ministry of Training & Education, schools must put effort in promoting and educating students to follow regulations and laws when riding motorbikes.

The Ministry of Training & Education also requested, one of the important objectives is to develop specific plan on promoting and educating students, raising awareness on public order and traffic safety; all teachers and students have to strictly follow the rule of putting on safety helmet when participating in traffic; prohibiting drinking alcohol right before taking part in traffic. 

For students in universities and vocational schools the Ministry of Training & Education requested these educational facilities to contact with transportation companies in selling tickets for students at schools in the festive period of new year.
