Minister Cao Duc Phat said in the second half of this year, the ministry will review the value chains of promising products to expand markets and production, supporting farmers and enterprises.
Especially, the ministry will deploy comprehensive measures to improve the business environment, creating the most favourable conditions for agricultural businesses and boosting value chains of major products, he said.
The Minister also revealed that the ministry will simplify and minimise administrative procedures while applying information technology and online services to serve businesses.
Meanwhile, a special committee has been set up to review fees and charges, he said.
Besides, through the end of this year, the ministry will remove obstacles to maintain and expand export markets, helping farmers sell their produce.
