Six domestic travel companies prioritised to apply for customers’ visa to France

The French embassy in Vietnam has signed partnership agreements on April 15 with six Vietnam’s tour operators to facilitate visa application for their customers travelling to France.

The six local tour operators signing the partnership agreements with the French Embassy include Hanoi Red Tour, Naci Travel, Hanoi Iso Tours, Hanoi Tourist, South Pacific Travel and Vietfoot Travel. Mathias Fekl, Minister of State for Foreign Trade, the Promotion of Tourism and French Nationals Abroad said
the agreements aim to simplify the process of issuing visas and create favourable conditions for Vietnamese tourists to visit France.

Moreover, the embassy will simplify visa procedures and requirements  for those who have previously entered Europe and several other countries.
The decision was made to address the strong increase of tourists from Vietnam to France. About 24,269 visas were grantes in 2014, a 28.7% year-on-year rise, including nearly 11,000 travel visas, up 62 % from the previous year.
