The launching ceremony of the cooperation agreement was held on September 7 in Ho Chi Minh City.

By collaborating with the Vietnamese e-wallet, Starbucks Vietnam can instantly connect with millions of MoMo's active users so they can easily pay for their favorite Starbucks beverage.

The two sides will continue to deploy new services and bring more features to customers in the future.

Patricia Marques, General Manager of Starbucks Vietnam said: “At present, we do acknowledge the benefit and usefulness of digital payment, that’s why E-wallet is one of the criteria that Starbucks Vietnam would like to bring to our customer. Through this cooperation, we hope to enhance and bring a different style of experience to customers.”

Speaking at the event, Nguyen Manh Tuong, CEO of MoMo said: “Now, enhancing the experience on digital channels becomes an imperative need to reach customer satisfaction. Through this cooperation, we can continue building our dream of a cashless society in which everyone can enjoy food & beverage services by a mobile phone without worrying about money or pocket.”

Due to the impact of Covid-19 over the past two years, digital transformation has become an indispensable trend for most businesses, especially in the food & beverage field which allows them to serve in multi-channels, and enhance the experience for customers with convenience.

Furthermore, the cooperation between food & beverage businesses and fintech in the payment
ways have also become a driving force to promote safe and cashless payment in modern society.
