Department of Inspection Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism in Hanoi held a strange artifact inspections at some sites in Long Bien and Dong Anh district
According to the report, Long Bien district has displaced 28 of 30 stone lions at the monument. Currently, the only remaining one pair of stone lions at the Pagoda Chinese Martial Arts (Phuc Loi ward, Long Bien district). Relic management board and representative of the pagoda signed commitments to complete the work moving strange objects in November 21. In contrast, the Long Bien, Dong Anh district faced many difficulties in the work of artifacts illegally taken out of the ruins. According to statistics, till June 10, the district had 127 strange artifacts still existing, no relocation measures, awaiting instructions from higher authorities.
Besides focusing relocation weird artifacts, cultural management units in the district are interested in organizing training courses to individual management board members monuments, abbot introduce flexible identification Vietnamese materials, prevent receiving wrong kind permission of the other monuments. Hanoi Department of Culture and Tourism Inspector will continue to examine the relics in Dong Da District, Ha Dong, Tu Liem and Thanh Tri commune, Chuong My.
