Strengthening Vietnamese-Malaysian navies relationship

​Rear Admiral Pham Hoai Nam, Commander of the Vietnam People`s Navy yesterday hosted a reception for Admiral Tan Sri Dato Ahmad Kamarulzaman bin Hj Ahmad Badaruddin, Chief of the Royal Malaysian Navy to boster Vietnamese-Malaysian navies relationship.

 
 
 
At the meeting, Vietnamese and Malaysian Commanders have agreed to bolster naval cooperation through increasing consultations and boosting affiliations in sea patrols, delegation exchanges and personnel training. 

The Malaysian Admiral said he will instruct authorised bodies to prepare for cooperation with the Vietnamese Navy, particularly in establishing a communication channel and joint sea patrols.

The Vietnamese Rear Admiral said the two countries’ navies should strengthen solidarity while maintaining peace in the East Sea on the basis of respecting international law and the Declaration on the Conduct of Parties in the East Sea.
