Illegal immigrants and incoming visitors in international commercial flights pose threats to Vietnam's success in containing the coronavirus.

Since the start of this year, illegal Chinese immigrants have been found in 27 out of 63 cities and provinces in Vietnam.

Shortly before Vietnam detected locally infected coronavirus cases in Danang, police found dozens of illegal Chinese immigrants in the city.

Foreign visitors can stay or leave the country from now throughout June 30 without doing any paperwork.
