A representative of the MM Mega Market centers said that the business wishes to introduce to local diners, businesses, and citizens of the French-speaking community in the country the finest French-sourced products.
“The French who live away from home may have a chance to enjoy familiar food like they are at home,” he stated.
France is currently the second-largest European investment partner in Vietnam with a total registered capital of more than US$3.6 billion.
The country achieved world acclaim for its unique and delicate cuisine culture, which is a combination of history, culture, traditions, as well as special cooking techniques.
In 2010, UNESCO featured the “gastronomic meal of the French” on the list of the world’s intangible cultural treasures. This has been achieved by the most prominent French chefs and Michelin-rated restaurants around the world. In recognition of such an outstanding food culture, France is chosen as an upcoming indispensable destination for the “Taste of Country” journey launched in Vietnam.
