Run for Peace 2014 was be held by the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organisations (VUFO) and the Peace Run Organisation in Hanoi on November 17, as part of the Asia-Pacific relay through 13 countries.
Roughly 70 teachers and pupils of Ngo Sy Lien and Tran Phu schools and both local and foreign runners participated in the event.

Vietnam was honour of being chosen as a destination of Peace Run Organisation’s Asia-Pacific relay, according to director of the Hanoi Municipal Department of Education and Training Nguyen Huu Do.
The event aims at sending a message of peace and solidarity to international friends and peace loving people worldwide, especially Vietnamese pupils and enhancing mutual understandings among countries.
