The third ASEAN forum on labour safety and hygiene was held in the central city of Da Nang on April 28, attracting nearly 200 delegates from 10 ASEAN member states, the International Labour Organisation and regional enterprises.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs Doan Mau Diep informed the participants on the outcomes of the ASEAN-OSHNET conference, saying that it adopted the 2016-2020 action plan, on the pillars of further improving labour safety and hygiene standards, improving workforce quality and generating a safe and friendly working environment.
At the forum, several participants shared their experience in conducting labour safety and hygiene programmes.
