Hanoi`s three projects of the Terminal T2 of Noi Bai International Airport, Nhat Tan Bridge and the road connecting Noi Bai airport were presented the JICA President Award by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) at the ceremony held in Hanoi on December 11.
Three transport projects funded by Japanese ODA have formed a new international gateway in Hanoi.
These project have considerably contributed to improve goods transport from Noi Bai to downtown Hanoi, enhancing significantly the investment climate of the city.
The annual JICA President Award is granted to the agency’s projects as well as collectives and individuals worldwide so as to recognise their practical and significant contributions to local socio-economic development.
Apart from three projects in Vietnam, nine projects, four individuals and one collective were granted the Award in 2015, including those in Nepal, Cambodia, India, Ethiopia, Chile, Bangladesh and Jordan.
These project have considerably contributed to improve goods transport from Noi Bai to downtown Hanoi, enhancing significantly the investment climate of the city.
