Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is an important historical attraction of Hanoi, known for honoring the national hero: President Ho Chi Minh. The building is where visitors can express their admiration and gratitude towards the common father/uncle of Vietnamese who has led the country to independence and reunification. It is popularly known among Vietnamese as Uncles’ Mausoleum, for the intimate and familiar atmosphere, Ho Chi Minh always created when he was alive. Built over 2 years from 1973 to 1975, the Mausoleum is also a lively illustrator of national unity.

From the center of Hanoi Capital, tourists go along highway 32 or Avenue Thang Long by car to Son Tay Town, then go along the road 414 (provincial highway 87) for 19 km. They will reach Da Chong Hill, in Minh Quang Commune, Ba Vi District. The corpse of Uncle Ho was kept there from 1969 – 1975 (another name is K9). Recently, Hanoi has officially opened the Old Quarter Walking Street, making it into an enormous walking area in the capital city. The aim of this walking streets is to promote the Vietnamese culture. It is an extraordinary place for both the local and tourists to chill out and enjoy their relaxing time after a stressful workweek.
The walking streets consist of the route surrounding Hoan Kiem Lake – the heart of Hanoi. Pedestrian-only hours start from Friday 6 p.m until Sunday 12 p.m.
Unlike the formerly walking street (Hang Dao, Hang Duong and Dong Xuan or Dong Xuan Night Market) where the vendors are located in the middle of the streets, the roadbeds of these new sixteen pedestrian is available for the citizens to stroll and participate in some traditional games with the local such as the game of dragon-snake, throwing a sacred ball through the ring, the game of squares. However, numerous stalls are also available in some corners for the visitors to taste the food, try on or buy the clothes, accessories, souvenirs, and handicrafts.

The Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism was inaugurated in October 2010, coinciding with the 1,000th founding anniversary of Thang Long-Hanoi. The village is an excellent place to learn about Vietnam’s 54 ethnic groups.
Located 40km west of Hanoi and covering more than 1,500 hectares, the village is divided into 7 zones including the ethnic village zone which recreates the houses and living areas of different ethnic groups. In each zone, indigenous people introduce visitors to aspects of their culture.

Ho Tay Water Park is located inside the amusement park of West Lake Park, the water park is a modern entertainment complex where you will find water attractions like pools, slides and a lazy river, in total there are 10 state-of-the-art water features.
The park is set in a green oasis 5 km north of Hanoi OldQuarter The amusement park at the same location has fifteen different attractions and a games zone (Sun and Moon Park). You can also find a rollercoaster, pirate ship, UFO, Crazy Wave and a 60 metre high Ferris wheel. For the younger children there are driving carts, a bubble house, and bumping cars.

Trang Tien Shopping Mall is a high-end shopping mall that is home to many famous international brands, such as Bvlgari, Dior, Cartier and Louis Vuitton. It was originally built in 1901 in the French colonial style design and was again renovated to its present appearance in 2013. This is one of the oldest shopping centres in Hanoi and is located on a corner next to Hoan Kiem Lake. Its location can easily be reached from the Old Quarter in a five- to ten-minute walk.
The building is iconic due to its rich history and beautiful architectural design. Trang Tien Plaza consists of six floors in which you can find a wide array of goods. On the first floor you will find apparel and fashion, the second floor contains fashion and mobile phone outlets, the third floor contains household equipment, the fourth floor has a supermarket and some grocery retailers, the fifth floor houses offices and restaurants and the sixth floor is exclusively devoted to offices.

Thu Le Park was constructed on 19 May 1975 and then opened to the public two years later. Thu Le Park has been well-known as another name Thu Le Zoo by most of the locals in Hanoi, especially children. The park is a complex of Green Park, zoo and amusement park.
Situated in an enormous are of 29 hectares, Thu Le Zoo is an ideal place for walking tour since it is encompassed by lush green grasses and an exquisite collection of tree, small plants and flowers.
All children would yell out loud enthusiastically when their parents offer a visit to Thu Le Park because in here can be found a wide array of entertaining games like high speed train, bubble houses or rollerblading.

Bao Son Paradise in Hoai Duc District is the biggest entertainment and tourism park in the North for local visitors with a harmonious blend of both traditional and modern features.
The park opened in 2008 with 20 hectares, consists of four main areas: traditional craft villages of Vietnam, a replica of Hanoi ancient quarters, the eco-tourism area and a culinary section offering cuisine from all corners of Vietnam.
Bao Son Paradise Park provides you plenty of opportunities to learn about Vietnamese culture. You can glimpse into the past lives of Hanoians by crossing O Quan Chuong (Quan Chuong Gate) and stepping into the late 19th century and early 20th century. Here, you can buy traditional products on display in nearly 20 houses designed in traditional styles from that time in the old quarter.
Traditional craft villages in the park feature products typical to craft villages. Besides, there are banyan trees, water wells, and communal houses on display at each craft village. Moreover, you can enjoy performances of traditional songs, dances and music, and water puppetry. Bao Son Paradise Park also includes a 500-seat theatre, which can host variety shows and cultural exchange programmes. Its premises also feature an open-air and multipurpose stage which offer large entertainment shows and local as well as regional events.
