Top Vietnamese swimmer Hoang Quy Phuoc will train in China from April 1 to September 15 in preparation for the 17th Asian Games in the Republic of Korea
The Da Nang-born swimmer will be coached by Guo Ruishan, who has instructed many Vietnamese talents such as Pham Thanh Nguyen, Nguyen Van Ty and Nguyen Thi Anh Vien.
The three-time Southeast Asian Games gold medallist aims to grab the gold at the coming Games. Meanwhile, Vien, another gold medal hopeful in the Republic of Korea, has been training in the US. She finished second in the women's 400m medley event at the Orlando Grand Prix in the US on February 14.-
