The Kim Lien special national relic site in central Nghe An province’s Nam Dan district where is the late President Ho Chi Minh’s hometown welcomed more than 136,000 visitors during the six-day holiday which began on April 28.

The relic site also received 11 international delegations from countries as diverse as Laos, Russia, the Republic of Korea, the US and Romania, according to the site’s management board.
On the occasion, the management board and the Nam Dan People’s Committee held a book exhibition and a Vi-Giam folk singing performance dedicated to the late President Ho Chi Minh’s life and career.
The Kim Lien relic is one of the four prominent relics about the late President Ho Chi Minh which has been recognised as a special national relic.
The site includes houses of parents and maternal grandparents of Ho Chi Minh, who was born as Nguyen Sinh Cung, in Sen and Chua villages, and the tomb of Hoang Thi Loan – his mother.
