Ten members of the Hanoi Vespa Club will begin an epic scooter journey through Italy, France, Germany and Switzerland in June.
The trip aims to boost cultural exchange and connections with international friends, as well as to promote Vietnam’s beauty and cultural traditions.
After the expedition, they will return to Italy in mid-June to take part in Vespa World Days.
Hanoi Vespa Club is preparing carefully to ensure problem-free travel across 4,000 kilometres.
At present, the club has about 200 members. They have previously conquered various other long journeys including a 2,000 kilometer trans-Vietnam in 2008 and a 3,000 kilometer trans-Indochina three years later.
In 2012, the club completed a 4,000 kilometer trans-Southeast Asia journey with nine members, traversing Vietnam, Laos, Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore.
