Hanoi Tourism Ao Dai Festival 2023 to pay tribute to national outfit
The event aimed to promote the image of Hanoi as a millennium-old capital with a rich heritage, heroism, civilization, and modernity.

Around 1,000 participants joined the Ao Dai (traditional long dress) performance program "The Capital’s Women - Integration and Development" on October 29 at the pedestrian streets around Hoan Kiem Lake, Hanoi.
The event was organized by the Executive Committee of the Hanoi Women's Union. It was part of the Hanoi Tourism Ao Dai Festival 2023, held from October 27 to 29. |
The participants in the Ao dai parade included central and city delegates, international guests, artists, representatives of families, students, members of women's unions, women from districts, towns, subordinate units, businesswomen, models, and children. |
This year's program highlighted the stage performance by 600 women and female students from Hanoi. |
Speaking at the event, Le Kim Anh, Chairwoman of the Hanoi Women's Union, stated that the program aimed to honor the traditional cultural value of Ao dai, paying tribute to the graceful and elegant beauty of Hanoi women. |
The event also aimed to promote the image of Hanoi as a millennium-old capital with a rich heritage, heroism, civilization, and modernity. The city is a safe, friendly, and attractive destination for domestic and international friends. |
