The magazine Alpha Southeast Asia (Alpha SEA) has held the award ceremony for outstanding financial institutions in the region, in which Vietcombank is awarded as “The best bank in Vietnam”.
At the event on September 14, at Shangri-la, Singapore for outstanding financial institutions in South East Asia organized by Alpha SEA. The awards include the best financial institution in the region and the best financial institutions in various fields at each country. This is the first and only awards focused on Southeast Asia. As such, 2017 is the 11st awards organized by Alpha SEA.
In order to be selected for consideration, Alpha Sea requested financial institutions to provide required documents to support quantitative and subjective evaluation, in turn helps the evaluators to evaluate the subject comprehensively. In 2017, through the process of evaluating 210 documents submitted by stock exchange companies, commercial banks, investment banks, and foreign banks, Alpha Sea has chosen outstanding financial institutions in the region and selected leading institutions for 8 – 14 award categories at each country.
