To celebrate the recent expansion of the Phu Cat Airport in Quy Nhon city, Binh Dinh province, low-cost air carrier Vietjet has announced the launch of a new route connecting Hanoi and Quy Nhon.
By opening this new route, VietJet will boost travel and trade between not only Hanoi and Quy Nhon and
Binh Dinh but also between the capital city and Binh Dinh’s neighboring provinces by offering travelers and businesspeople more travel opportunities than ever before at the best prices.
The airline already has a flight linking Ho Chi Minh City and Quy Nhon, one of Vietnam’s up-and-coming tourism destinations.
“Quy Nhon is one of Vietnam’s best kept secrets — a place of stunning, poetic beauty with a fascinating history and wonderful, welcoming people. Tourists will love to discover this enchanting destination. Meanwhile, we hope that with the opening of this flight business and trade between Hanoi and Quy Nhon will further flourish,” said Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hung, VietJet Management Board’s Vice Director.
The Hanoi – Quy Nhon route will commence on 26th April, 2015. Tickets have already been since 26th January and travelers can currently snap up fares from VND699,000 ($33).
This new flight will also be part of VietJet’s daily promotion with discount tickets available every day from 12 noon to 2pm (Vietnam time) on www.vietjetair.com (compatible on smartphones as well) or www.facebook.com/vietjetairvietnam (click tab “Đặt vé”).
The flight duration for each leg is one hour and 45 minutes. A morning flight will depart from Hanoi at 10.25am and land in Quy Nhon at 12 noon. In the afternoon, the flight will take off in Quy Nhon at 12.35pm and arrive in Hanoi at 2.10pm.

We hope that travelers will soon “Enjoy Flying” to or from Quy Nhon on our brand new Airbus aircraft with comfy leather seats and delicious hot meals served by our famously fun and friendly air stewards,” said Mr. Hung.
With the fleet of 20 Airbus A320 aircraft, VietJet now operates 150 flights per day, transporting eight million passengers in total so far. The airline is covering 28 local and international routes across the country and the region to Singapore, Thailand, South Korea, Taiwan, and Cambodia.
