National flag carrier Vietnam Airlines announced on June 3 that it would increase domestic flights to meet peak travel demand during this summer.

The firm will add nearly 3,000 flights or nearly 530,000 seats on domestic air routes to favorite destinations such as Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, Nha Trang and Phu Quoc.
In addition, Vietnam Airlines also announced to increase more than 470 flights on rush days during this summer. The total number of seats served during the period will be 4.5 million seats, up 6% from the same period last year.
The firm recommended passengers to book flight tickets early and use online check-in services to reduce time for waiting in the airport before departure.
