Vietnam was named among the top 20 countries with the highest number of Internet users, according to recent statistics from the Internet World Stats.

Vietnam was ranked at 17th place.
Internet users in Viet Nam increased 22.7 per cent from 200,000 in 2000 to 45 million users in 2015, equivalent to 48.3 per cent of the country's population.
China topped the list with 674 million Internet users, followed by India (354 million) and the US (280.7 million).
Viet Nam had a fast Internet growth with diverse Internet access services, which allows users to access Internet by different services in different places.
Besides, households and organisations can also choose Internet services with different quality and bandwidth instead of the traditional ADSL.
