This is the 7th times Vietnam has attended import-export exhibition fair in Cambodia with the first national pavilions hosted by the Ministry of Trade, and some 20 booths of many prestigious enterprises of Vietnam.
The Fair 2015 is officially organized by Cambodia's Ministry of Commerce. Fair takes place over 4 days of December 15-18.
The 10th Cambodia Import- Export & One Province One Product Exhibition (CIE &OPOP) attracted the participation of 200 companies from countries inside and outside the region, such as Cambodia, Thailand, Myanmar, China, Japan and Vietnam with many products in the field areas such as textiles, engineering, medicine, construction, handicraft goods, furniture, electronics, food and beverage, etc. Vietnamese food, confectionary, household appliances, electronic products and steel are being showcased at 20 booths at the 10th Cambodia Import- Export & One Province One Product Exhibition.
The exhibition in Phnom Penh also drew the participation of enterprises from Cambodia, China, Indonesia, Japan, Myanmar, and Thailand, who bring to the fair such popular consumer products as garments, mechanical products, fine art handicrafts, food and beverage.
The event looks to enable trade promotion activities, partnership establishment and export market expansion. Sharing the borderline as well as similarities in culture and society, Vietnam and Cambodia are striving for 5 billion USD in bilateral trade in the near future. Over the past three years, two-way trade hit 3.4 billion USD per year, posting a growth of 5.8 percent on average.
The 10th Cambodia Import- Export & One Province One Product Exhibition is organized to promote import and export business between the countries in the region and to introduce to the consumer goods products, quality service of the nation.
At the national pavilions, the Ministry of Industry and Trade organized display and introduce the documents, publications on the investment environment and business in Vietnam. In particular, in the context of the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC), it was officially formed in late 2015, the fair provides a business opportunity for Vietnam to expand markets, boosting exports. At the same time, this is also an opportunity to promote trade between domestic enterprises with Cambodian partners and foreign partners.
Vietnam now brings this fair with many products that have the advantage of Vietnam on the Cambodian market as food, candy, appliances, electronics, steel, etc.

Along with the activities of other trade promotion, the Vietnam Ministry of Trade and the Vietnam now regularly attend the fair has helped boost export-import activities between Vietnam and Cambodia in recent times.
