Present at the event were Vietnamese Deputy Minister of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs Huynh Van Ty and officials of Vientiane province.
The construction of the 2.1 million USD centre started on August last year. Once operational, the centre will provide prostheses and rehabilitation services for war invalids and people with disabilities in Laos.
On the occasion, the Da Nang Orthopedic and Rehabilitation Hospital of Vietnam and the newly-built Lao facility signed an agreement establishing twinning relations at a ceremony the same day.
